Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully:

Please register me as an introducer of mortgage business with Broker Direct Packaging.  I understand that such registration involves no obligation to introduce any mortgage business to Broker Direct Packaging on my part but as and when I do I shall adhere fully to the terms and conditions of Broker Direct Packaging as numbered below:

1. I confirm that I am licensed under the provisions of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 for the purposes of advising and arranging mortgage business.
2. I confirm that I am regulated under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, with permission to arrange and advise on regulated mortgage contracts.
3. I agree to inform Broker Direct Packaging immediately of any change in my circumstances that may result in my registration as an introducer to Broker Direct Packaging being cancelled.
4. I accept that it is my responsibility for ensuring that the information I provide whilst using this service, is complete and accurate, and provided solely by my client.
5. When I submit a Decision in Principle application, I agree that I am confirming that I have the client’s authority to agree to Credit Reference Agency searches. I accept that it is my duty to explain the implications of such searches to my clients. I accept that Broker Direct Packaging will not be held responsible for any liability relating to Credit Reference Agency searches carried out, without the clients express consent.
6. I agree to indemnify Broker Direct Packaging from any claim for entitlement to override, commission or any similar fee which I may be contracted to pay to an introducer, employer or network or any similar person or organisation

Broker Direct Packaging will undertake to process Decision in Principle applications and full mortgage applications as provided by the introducer and on completion will pay any procuration fees in accordance with the fees structure (which may vary from time to time) as communicated to Brokers who are registered on our database.

Broker Direct Packaging agrees not to contact the client of the introducer in any way unless specifically requested to do so by the introducer.

Broker Direct Packaging agrees to pay to the introducer the appropriate procuration fee, calculated on the initial advance (excluding added fees) as expediently as possible following completion of the introduced mortgage case.

Broker Direct Packaging will not accept any liability for errors in the information you have entered. We will also not accept liability for errors in product information provided, if the information provided is incorrect or incomplete. If you are aware of any incorrect information you have provided, you should contact us immediately to rectify the situation.

Any products quoted on this website are subject to change or withdrawal at our discretion. If product changes are enforced by the lender, we will update our site within 24 hours of our notification of the change. Although we will attempt to keep the product information as current as possible, you accept that product information shown may not always be accurate or available at the time of viewing. Broker Direct Packaging holds no responsibility for any changes made to products, without being previously informed of such change. You accept that it is your responsibility to verify the terms and conditions of any product detailed on this website, before advising your client on any such product.

Information provided in a Decision in Principle application form will be stored on computer, and is subject to the Data Protection Act. We may make enquiries with one or more Credit Reference Agencies within the terms of the Data Protection and Consumer Credit Acts. Credit Reference Agencies may keep a record of any such enquiries, and make this available to other enquirers.

We will keep your client information on record for a period of no less than three months, after you submitted it.

Broker Direct Packaging may provide links to other websites, the content of which is not under our control. Links to such websites are made available for your ease of use, and you use them entirely at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any content made available by such websites.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this website, either temporarily or permanently, without notice at any time. You agree that we shall not be liable to you, or any third party, for any modification, suspension, non-availability or discontinuance of the Broker Direct Packaging website.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without further notification. You shall be deemed to have accepted the changes if you continue to use the Broker Direct Packaging website.

We will use your personal information for administering the Broker Direct Packaging website. We will also use it to send you information about our products and services.

You agree that we, and the company for whom you work, are both data controllers under the Data Protection Act 1998. You will ensure that your client understands that we are holding personal information about them, and how we may use the information.

These terms and conditions, and your access to the use of the Broker Direct Packaging website and its content, are subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
